On Friday afternoon, SMR hosted its traditional beginning-of-the-year General Assembly. We heard reports on past events from each of the committees, ate yummy sandwiches, had a lot of laughs, and brainstormed exciting new ideas for the academic year. Be sure to stay tuned for more!
Last week, SMR members met for the traditional end-of-year General Assembly. We discussed successful past events, brainstormed ideas for future events, and nominated new officers for the 2019-2020 academic year (all while enjoying time with friends and a delicious lunch from Jerusalem Garden)!
Last week, SMR members gathered for the annual winter General Assembly. After recapping SMR’s various activities of the past semester, members discussed initiatives—professional, social, and other—to pursue for the remainder of the academic year, as well as plans for next year. By all appearances, Winter 2019 should be another busy and rewarding semester!

Last week, SMR members met for their first General Assembly of the 2018-2019 school year. Members discussed plans for the upcoming school year, ranging from social events to workshops for professional development. Additionally, the Michigan Music Forum was renamed as the SMR Forum to better reflect the goals and activities of the organization. We’re all looking forward to implementing the ideas we discussed and growing SMR!
