Society for Music Research
On Saturday, September 9, SMR members (and a handful of significant others) convened for a year-commencing barbecue. The barbecue was hosted in Anne’s (Ph.D candidate, historical musicology) verdant backyard. The weather was beautiful and the food delicious—a great way to kick off the new academic year. It was great to see everyone, and here’s to another year of enjoyable and enriching SMR events!
