This weekend, SMR members gathered to socialize and kick off an academic school year like no other at County Farm Park for our annual SMR Welcome BBQ—our first in-person event since February 2020! Socially distanced introductions were made, burritos and margaritas were consumed (courtesy of MAIZ Mexican Cantina), and general masked merriment ensued. Cheers to a new year and thank you to our social co-chairs, Anna Rose Nelson and Joshua Kerobo, for organizing such a fun and safe event.
