On Wednesday, SMRF hosted the first Anti-Racism Reading Group meeting of 2021 to discuss intersectionality, utilizing articles by Matthew D. Morrison, Elizabeth K. Keenan, Kimberlé Crenshaw, and Ellie M. Hisama (for a full reading list, see below). The discussion ranged from analyses of each author’s approach to intersectionality to the implementation of intersectionality in pedagogy. A thoroughly productive and motivating meeting for all involved. Thanks to SMRF for organizing and hosting!
